Rail Jam 2011

that sounds phenominal!

i'll definitely try to make the hike up from new york... avon day was well worth it and this seems even better

whaleback this saturday, regestration starts at 1230 and the comp starts at 130. this is a contest and not just a jam so prizes will be awarded to winners of all categories. the registration fee is $20 but it comes with a bbq lunch! hope to see everyone out there on saturday!

Woorrrd I think I'll swing by before work and film some. Maybe even ski if my knee is feelin strong.

threads... anyone know if that place in southington is having one this year... theve had ones in the past

is that bobs? i havent heard. but doesn't Cutting Edge usually partner up with Southington for an event too?

bumping....

Bring you're not so good friends. I'd really like to start getting new faces at these events. Always a good time to see kids land something for the first time ya know.

that said, we're also sick of mini rails. so this'll be the first time we've set up a long rail with hockey ice. Looking forward to it.

waiver yes. it will be free.

We're trying to decide if we should do the big dfd or not..... with Launch Pad opening up, im thinking the sundown session will be mostly people looking for something mellow... so we're thinking dual lines of 4 easy rails... like a mini run. rather than use the snow resources for something big that 3 people may want... but who knows. i got a poll going on sundowns facenerd page.

Bobs has one every year i heard rumors of November 12th and they will most likely be partners up with Mt. Southington and Jibs For Cribs

I say an easy line of 2 medium difficulty features (down tube to flat rail), one flat box all on it's own, and 1 larger feature on it's own (DFD, down skinny or 32, or something like that)...just my thought.

If sunday river doesnt get their act together, i may have to make the 3hr voyage.. Sr needs to start making snow.

that's on the "shop time" waiting list. we have some stuff set aside already.

we're setting up today, so i;ll throw some pics up on FB.

Is anyone still going to Sundown now that Snow, Killy, and SR are gonna be open? My skis are being mounted and I have work late afternoon, so I wanna shoot over there and film for a couple hours.

There will definitely be some people there. Maybe not as many as there would have been, but I'd still say it's worth it.

so I guess the outdoor sports rail jam is cancelled... whats the vibe like at the Bob's chalet jam? is it more of a competition or is it just a jam session?
