Rail idea?

i was at menards and i saw some shelving material thats white and its real smooth and relatively cheap...i was wondering if it would slide decent. i kno the answer is probably in this cult somewhere but i dont know where to find it.
 
i think your talking about that cheap like MDF board or something like that......you can chip it of with your fingernail so without coping in would be pointless
 
Um there was white shelfing in my garage and I was screwing around and it snaps in half.......don't get it. Get HDPE.
