Rail help tips please!

have ur stance wider, commit to the rail, and dont lean back... u gotta be pumped if it is ur first time and u gotta be like i can stomp this and then just go do it

your setup is imfortant too, many times beginners tend to slide onto the rail or come on a bit from the side so they do not have to turn as much to get onto it. when coming into the rail, have a good centered stance and hands froward, just as though you were coming into a jump. you should still pop like you would off a jump and this will allow you to land centered on the rail rather then in the backseat. from there, just keep your weight forward, focus on the end of the rail and you should have it in no time.

Make sure your weight is forward coming into the rail, and as you get on shift your eyes from just in front of you (right when your getting on) to the end of the rail.

i'm pretty sure a bit of speed is always better. If i go too slow, i mess up way easier. I'm still learning all these things, and everything that has been mentioned really helps, so listen to what's said above.

Speed is key. not TOO fast but quciker will be easier.

Focus your vision on the end of the rail.

Downhill hand - put it by your ass. helps keep your balance and body position right.

Put more weight on your front leading foot (but don't lean OVER your front foot.

Feet shoulder width too.

And the biggest part, is committment and confidence in doing it. It you don't think you can, you will bail.
