Ok. If you see a nice big rail that you think is do-able,

like nice in run, and out run, say where it is in the city,

then it will give everyone the oppertunity to hit them up and stuff if they wanted to...

Theres a rail in stonehaven, a sub devision in Newmarket, on that has a perfect infun..its almost as if it was made just so u could slide it...just the right size drop... then a nice 15 ft rail.. (not huge, i know..but still nice!) .. and then you have a whole extra wide walkway to slide out on. There are also a couple of douwnstar rails right before it for your advanced nutcase! :D

the first one is a triple kinked rail, with a run in, a place to park, and no hassle, it is located behind the archives, right beside the bridhge going to hull (not the alexandria, but another one)

There are quite a few Ottawa rails in my video this year (Guinea Pigs) that my bro does. Check www.engsoc.org/~bigmike/skiing/videos for the low-down.

David's also done a rail because of the new snow we just got. It was at the Long Island locks at the north end of the Manotick Island. Very sketchy drop to the right, and required building a picnic table in-run. Also it's a backside rail if you grind right foot forward. Very high, too.

alright here are some pics that craig took

The night shots are all at becon hill i went and checked that place out, the big kinked rails are do-able,

and the 16 step would be cool too, but you'd have to make a run out, because it' goes onto a road,....

as for the goal posts there in blackburn,

car tow in a must but there do-able as well,

There is a sweet stair hand rail at carelton university ( i know there is a bunch) but the one i am talking about is right beside the o train stop. Its perfect.

not a rail, but theres some amazing ledges at an EDS or nortel building near baseline n greenbank rd. honestly theyre worth checkin out im tellin ya...

ya that rail at otrain stop... also beside oc 95 stop... called bayview. it looks so sick its crazy. i seen it.

i fall a lot, and im cool

Check out the rail behind town hall on prestone in orleans by the cineplex, its a thick round rail with a small kink, last year the guys from tommy made a run and a jump up to it, maybe they'll do the same this year or some one else could, it's really close to the jump and rail at Tenth Line i was talking about.

There's a sweet 50 or 60 foot rail on a set of stairs right beside Dickson arena in Cambridge. It's perfect! Even if it's warm, you can get snow because the zamboni dumps it right at the bottom of the hill.

behind the church in manotick

27 set double kink beside Woodroffe High School

and on king edward street, heading north to hull, on the right hand side, there is a parking lot that has show pushed all the way against the wall of a building, perfect for wall rides

the best rails in ottawa are along the canal. you can take somerset all the way east till it ends and there's a really nice one thats's pretty steep. they're all along the canal on the oppostie side of king edward between the queensway and rideau. i suggest a jock strap. happy slidin'

Justin

go west on abbot street in stittsville to the end

there is a walking path over a creak, it is a 60+ foot rainbow(small hump)

a tow in is needed, but there is a perfect in run for snowmobiles

ohh so sweet...rail may need to be waxed down

jibs not jobs --mb

yo, that bridge off abbott is just behind my house! i never even thought of that. lemme know if ur gonna hit it i'll come out!

Justin

Actually, if you're driving up carling ave, look for two bridges in andrew haydon park. they're both perfect rails, but getting speed would be a challenge. you would probly have to bring a sled in at night or something... its far enough from the road that you would go unoticed and if cops show up you can take off down the river. next season- think about it

Justin

North side of the bronson bride, big double set with double kink. If you head down the first set and build a nice kicker, it would be sweet. I haven't done it yet, but it has been done.

These things make me mad.

theres one at straphcona park downtown, its like 15 2o stairs, perfect run in and out

-That gun made me feel like a man, now all that i have left are my enormous genitals.' black cop from the simpsons

-me:so whats your name dude?

some drunk: JESUS!!

me: oh really!??! so can you walk on water?

some drunk: no, but i can walk on kool-aid.
