Yo, been getting e-mails from some of ya about Friday. Entry at R&R Sport, Stuart St, 20 bucks, Cardrona are bringing over one of their monster rails, it's in the Octagon, gonna be fuckin' wikkid, ya'll should enter, there's about 10 spots left.

It's in the Octagon, Dunedin tomorrow night (Friday), starts at 6pm sharp. Gonna be sick. There'll still be a couple spot left - 35 max. Ring R&R Sport (03, 4741211) to see if there's space left if you're planning on rockin' down for it.

There bringing in an old Holden to set up a battleship rail over, the rail will change a bit as the night goes on - apparently they can change its' shape real easy - so should be pretty sick. Truckloads of snow coming out from somewhere (Cardrona maybe?). Is a full on jam session format. You get a bit over an hour to hit the rail, the crowd chooses who wins, it's pretty laxed out aye, real chill, no big deal, just fun and mad mad partying in Dunz aftewards, haha, awesome!

Gimmie a text or something (021 363 408) if you guys are gonna be in town, we'll go party it up afterwards for sure!

hey i waz talking to sum guys today who went down to that jib thingi and they said it waz rigged and shit.. i dont really know... anyone else go down 4it? apparently jossi carved up

 
That comp was a peice of shit im soo stoked i didnt enter, it was just based on names, sam hazledine is a fucken kook on rails there is no absolute way he could have got second, it made me angry, very angry.

but anyway we got the snow and set up a rail in the polytech and im kinda sore now, my mate dislocated his shoulder too, good times.

It was a fucken cool event. Thought it was pretty rough considering alright prize money, how it was judged. They should have had a couple of people scoring each person, cause the crowd didnt really pick the winner like it was supposed to be. Hazeldine I though was lame for his final run but not many of the other guys landed they final run so I spose that may have been why he got second. Snowboarders unfortunatly seems to be more of a crowd pleaser as they where putting there bodies on teh line, with one dude going inverted about 4 times. The event was way better than I imaged, as I thought it was just a low key thing. I have got my mates video camera with some of the footage from it, but he was MC for the event and was fucken pissed, so the camera work anit the best.

I was in it and it was actually quite a cool event. It was the first time they've ever tried anything like it in Dunedin so of course it was a bit rugged but who cares, good times all 'round.

It was an old Holden with a 7 meter battleship rail over it. skiers were throwing down okay I thought, but it was a set up designed for snowboarders so of course they were doing better. couple guys tried switch drop ins, a few switch landings, yeh, it was alright. And who's gonna be throwing huge shit anyway?? It was most of the competitors first slides of the season so they're going to be sketchy, and who wants to arse themselves up right before the season, so there's no point knocking the guys in it, I competed and had a heap of fun, who cares?
