Rail building strategy

what’s the best way to go about building a rail with a 6” 10’ Pipe? the very top of the rail needs to be 12” so it’s ride on (my friends won’t hit it if it isn’t). it’s not schedule 40 it’s like 35 or something so i need it to be sturdier that just screwing it onto a 2x6. i’ve seen people use little triangular siding next to the rail but i don’t know how to go about doing that, just some pictures will help a ton. i would post this in build a jib 101 but nobody has posted in that for 4 years so sorry.

I tried this idea but the pipe cracked after a while. Have you had that problem?

Nah I used schedule 40 8 inch diameter pvc but it did crack easily in the cold if I threw the pipes around n such
