Ive seen another thread like this but only for one trick and there seems to be alot of confussion with names of tricks and what how the trick is done

The only tricks i can think of is

Switch up-( switching up or doign a 180 in air and land the opposite foot grinding forwards)

Crown-( Doing a 270, switch up, 270 out )

Pretz-(anytrick that you do somesort of spin one way then change directions and do it the other)

Pring-( Just like a crown but you have to put a pretz somewhere in the trick)

Rail Spin-( Rotating/Spinning on the box)

Lay Down-( Speaks for it self, laying down on the box)

Nose/Tail press-( shifting your weight to the tips of your skis or tail of your skis so the rail has shifted to a nose/tail press)

Royale-(dragging your back foot behind so its kind of dragging on its edge)

nollie = pop off your nose going forwards or your tails going switch

lipslide= tails of skis go over rail, not tips.

Who the fuck comes up with these names? a crown, who the fuck came up with that? And how did you get a royal and broken mixed up?

meh, all of what has been said is fairly common knowledge, plus it doesnt matter what the tricks called just as long as you can do it.

i think you're "rail spin" is actually a surface slide, or well thats what i call it.

and then you also got like switch butter ons and other butter on variations

broken

bindsoul

ski slide

font slides

back slides

royal

beowulf/acid soul

farfegnugen

michael jackson

J5

Grendel

barred owl/fast plant

These are all diffrent grinds, and as much as I hate haveing a bunch of names each one is a diffrent trick no a combo. There is no need to start nameing combos.

all my snowboarder friends ask if im doing a boardslide, or 5050, becuase you stand on it like a 5050, but your skis are like a boardslide.

i always just say, "its a skier slide."

this happen to anyone else?

i hope "michael jackson" (what ever is it) doesn't include small children..

and u forgot hippie killer

a pretzel has to be at least 270 on and off.

and ill never call it a crown. that sounds worse than whiskey flip

no thats stupid..

blind up to blind 2 out is still a pretzel your stopping your momentum after moving 180 and changing the direction of your spin

and your loss crown sounds better than half the names for shit already out there

Is it called a "scissor slide" when you cross your skis and slide a box or rail?

is that a cool trick to do? i dont even know because I don't see anyone else doing them.

I'm pretty sure a beowulf is when you cross your feet, so your opposite foot is forward but you are still sliding regular....right foot on left side, left foot on right side.
