hey i am building a jib for my backyard but i just am wondering i am going to use 2x4's and pvc pipe but should i use like a 4x4 for the beam right under the rail or will a 2x4 be good?

also how do u keep that shit from moving?

2x4s are fine of you have enough supports

2x4's work good, but you need triangle supports between each of them
