Raging Buffalo VS Wilmot

buff has the atmosphere, wilmot has the park and the lifts, but either way they are almost the same, it depends if one wants a chairlift

I could never bring myself to pay for a pass to wilmot, I cant believe that a buffalo pass is more than wilmot!
 
they bought a pipe cutter last year and now they can cut the only legit pipe in possibly the whole midwest. which is pretty bitching + they dont get the crowds of gapers that wilmot is over populated with which means less money for them and that means they are forced to make season passes cost more which makes the extra 60$ worth every penny. and having more than 2 jumps is always nice
 
Not gonna lie buff had an awesome chill vibe to it and is crazy fun, but i live 10 min from wilmot.

But at wilmot we have gander so we can ski backcountry in the midwest.
 
The problem i'm having is i don't want to work there anymore at least i think. last year i got fucked I would call out there to see if it was ok to work that night and they always said no. or they would call me the day they wanted me out there with no time to plan. So will see what happens.
AND I SURE DON'T WANT TO TEACH SKI SCHOOL AGAIN. So a pass seems like the only good idea
 
ya i got yelled at for teaching ONLY 2 lessons a day and then having to leave to play hockey... and they yelled at my mom whom also taught there for having to many kids in her group which was assigned to her by the same person who yelled at her. they would honestly be better of if they didn't think they were the shit and started actually focusing on how to run the ski school instead of assuming everything is fine because they're so damn good in their minds
 
the one problem is the Ski School (ski & board) is just so big so many instructors. I have been thinking about joining Ski Patrol seems like a way smart move then Ski School.
 
ya dude i taught last year and it fucking sucked... im trying to get on the park crew this year so i can spend the whole time on the hill and try to make the park better...
 
i dont know about you guys but i really like riding tow ropes you can get like twice as many runs and there are no lines if you mess up a box just jump straight on the rope and try again so im gonna have to go with raging
 
Who are all these kids claiming they ski wilmot? theres definitly only 4 skiers inlcuding myself that actually go there on a weekend or day to day basis. Anyway, wilmot over buff any day, but wilmots closer and i get a free pass so whatever.
 
Well i'm Erick. I Built some of the park the last 3 years with Tim Doyle at wilmot. Not sure whats going on with that this winter. May just be a Season pass holder less stress and Bullshit from the Garage about cat time and when i can work and can't work. Most people know me I think.
 
Wait who am I? Yeah so it would be 5 then, i know who concept is just not the other 2 or three people that say WILMOT ALL DAY when the five of use never have seen them.
 
ya but their all really shity, the 2 flat boxes are ok and the down up down can be fun but otherwise its all not that good, and the one jump was ok for like one day
 
Wasko; the one day when we were throwin flips off the jump was the only weekend they had a good jump haha. Good day of progression though forsure.
 
two winters ago i Always worked Saturday night so the whole park was always perfect Sunday morning. Always made sure the landing was rebuilt and the take off was good.
