Man (and girl on NS too) Enjoy just is so much more creative and steezalitious than msp it blows my f-ing mind! Wonder who has the bigger budget?
 
rage's teaser is sick, but for as much as they get bashed on here i think msp deserves some credit for this one. and i'm assuming your question was a joke.
 
It'll be close this year. Who knows?

Maybe matchstick will come up with a super good movie. Same slo-mo shots and sunset background and maybe some cool heli angles but hopefully something different too that blows your mind.

Rage...looks dope to say the least. That is probably a must-buy.
 
I love Rage's US Open angle... I hope they have a shitload of footage from that... although like 2 shots only ever make it onto the DVD. Disappointing.
 
Last years rage trailer was pretty sweet too, but the movie just wasn't that great. I'm hoping they make it as good as the trailer this year.
 
Rage's Enjoy teaser is the best teaser I've ever seen in my whole life. I actually really mean that. It's amazing.
 
Rage's trailer was very sick, it's got me anticipating the release of the movie for sure, i also thought that MSP's trailer was sick too, if they would just cut out the Ski-BASE jumping nonsense it would be a much better experience to sit and watch a MSP movie straight through.
 
I thought the cinematography in Enjoy was really average, and the quality of the image looks like the movie was filmed with a cheap one-chip camera, whereas MSP's shots are pretty much all perfect and much more creative.
 
that's one thing I really didn't like about corduroy, it's obvious it wasn't filmed with a great camera.

Its not a shitty camera, but its overrated in my opinion. Its the same one Theory-3 and Level 1 shoots with.
 
last years booter crunk trailer was so dope, but the movie was sooo bad i thought, it was boring as fuck. so who knows what enjoy will be like. who else hated booter crunk?
 
Are you serious? You seem to have a very below average knowledge of cameras for claiming a production company in your signature.
 
Rages footage looks good at some points, but looks way to digital for my taste, and to say its better then MSP's is obsurd, msp's footage puts it on its own level

Personally I thought it was a better than average trailer thanks to the interesting stuff the riders were doing, but that it's being way overhyped. MSP meanwhile is generic MSP just like every year. I've been watching the PNW trailer and the Mack Dawg trailer over and over again, I only watched the enjoy and SSD ones twice each.
 
you'd think MSP would get bored making the same film over and over again, I saw ski movie, I don't need to see enjoy.
 
Think you're a little confused there buddy... Rage is making enjoy, not MSP.
 
rages new one is sick and msp has gotten better every year since hit list. but speaking of budgets msp's is blown out of the water by the new snowboarding teasers omg!!!!! they are amazing hd on wires check out the new one named PICTURE THIS ON THE MACK DAWG SITE SO SICK!!!!!!!!!
 
you could focused was probably my favorite movie they have made seth morrison's segment on it with the modest mouse song dramamine is dope... but they're just try to keep up with everyone else now they did pave the way for ski films though gotta hand them that
 
did anyone else notice how rage used the exact same angle on a jump level 1 used last year? it was the jump into a clearing of trees over a dead tree that stefan did a few times in hi segment in LSS. Rage appeared to do the exact same thing and even used the exact same angle that level 1 did.
 
some snowboard film, cant remember which, also used the exact same angle... and rage stole the song from one of the sickest snowboard teasers from last year!
 
We can't argue quality. MSP and WM both dominate the picture quality end of ski films for now. That doesn't mean they make the best films. Athlete's make the film and MSP has the best line up by far. Music is personal and no matter what there will be hate or love for sounds tracks unless it's just really bad. I'm a huge Standard Films fan. MD and Absinithe are making good stuff but I just like the music and rawness of a Standard. Nothing to fancy, just clean camera work, the best athelets, and sick music.
 
I've always been let down by the rage movies. I just find them somewhat boring, I dunno what it is though.

Enjoy trailer was sick as hell though so I'm looking forward to it
 
Yah.. I think they are getting P2(s) but IDK if they had them when they filmed most of the movie.

Rage's trailer is sooo doope. Probably the best I've seen so far this year.

Yeah... idk i guess i need to watch it again. I didn't think it was anything impressive.. only watched it once.
 
Okay just rewatched it.. It was pretty good but I still don't feel compelled to watch it again. The song was too mellow and the trailer was kinda boring. It was edited really well, the shots were really good, but it just wasn't exciting enough to make me want to watch it over and over again like the Enjoy trailer and the Apples and Oranges one.
