for those who preordered, check your email for the download link.

i have 2 songs left to listen to...it is OUTSTANDING.

your thoughts?

yah i reaaaally hope it's a sick album, can any of you who have listened to it compare it to one of their previous albums at all? thom said in an interview that it would be most similar to ok computer...anyway, whatever, easily one of my top 2 or 3 favorite bands on the planet...a radiohead concert is one of the only things that could ever take precedent over skiing for me

You can download it for free from the Radiohead site, if you want. Just put in zero pounds as the price. Its definitely worth a few bucks though!

some people were having problems going through the in rainbows site, due to the activatiion codes.

plus it's a lot slower than a media hosting site, such as sendspace, mediafire, ect.

but, your call...i just thought i'd post an alternate link, i didn't know if it was cool or not?

just finished listening to it. VERY GOOD. (as usual with this band). If you're going to get it, get it off their site, show some support, give em a few bucks

www.inrainbows.com for those who are too lazy.

Go get it even if you aren't a big Radiohead fan. I feel this will go a long way in changing how the music industry will begin to distribute music.

Amazing album, and an amazing purchasing concept. It almost reminds me of the street musician, and it's definitely a much better system than the recording industries have.

they are refusing to give up their numbers for how many copies they've sold.

typical radiohead, but you have to admire them for (if nothing else) they way they did this.

im into it. its like they went on a mission to define what perfect pop rock should be, and then did it. ive only given it like one and a half listens, but i like it so far.

there are two options. box and download. clikc "pre-order" next to download if you want a link sent so you can directly download the music. the box set comes with more stuff tho i think.

you have to go through the process of placing an order, but if you dont want to pay for it just put 0.00 and complete the payment, then they will send you a link...

People who have given no money to these guys for the album are assholes.

If you download, go for it. but their asking for anything. Its basically what you think the music is worth.

give like, a dollar at least.

I don't really even like radiohead and I just bought it. (Its not that I dislike them, I just never really have listened to them). I payed about 1 pound, so I guess thats like 2 dollars? I just want to support someone doing something awesome.

^ more people need that attitude about things like this.

sometimes just supporting something that proves a point can be so important, and i think this is one of those times.

They were talking about this on O&A this morning.

The amounts that the musicians get off standard album sales are absurd. Even if you just give a single dollar for the downloan, Radiohead is still doing better than they would've had they had a record label. With record labels, they see pennies on the dollar.

"Rumors, polls and inside sources circulating indicate that the average buyer paid £4, or about $8, which would mean that Radiohead has made about $10 million or more since the record's release on Oct. 10."

I love this idea, and I'm hoping more bands will follow the lead and drive a spear right through the record companies heart.

radiohead could fart into the microphone and people would like it. Everyone's raving on the radio about the beats and how intricate the rythm is. Yet when I heard it I wasnt surprised by anything, mediocre bullshit is all it is.

Different strokes for different folks. You are a metalhead, so it doesn't surprise me that you don't like Radioheads music much.
