i used to race, and it was fun. going around to different mountains, meet new people, and when youre not doin the course or inspection, you can just go into the park, or ski the glades.

i find that racing has made me a better all round skier, so if the park is shitty, i can jsut ski the other stuff, which i find equally fun.

i jsut made this post cause im tired of seeing people hating on racing (although some racers are cocky bastards)

never into racing. if i wanna race, ill go full contact through the skier-x. an occational fun race is cool, just goin down the coarse once or twice, wouldnt make a hobby out of it though

 
racing is cool! o wait...what the hell am i talking about?! only kidding. it is cool that it gets you to the hill and you get to go dif. places but the actual racing part is quite possibly the dumbest thing i have ever witnessed.one time i was with my friend and we were staight lineing this part so we could reach the lift on the other side and we cut across a race and someone was going down right after we crossed. it was great. but the ppl got wicked pissed. if they cared that much they should have roped it off. i didnt even no that i was in the way untill i saw the blue line in front of me.

Once I entered a small race and rode backwards.
