hey guys, im new here and i know its a freestyle skiing url, but i was just wonderin if any of you guys like hittin up the gates?

 
I used to race before I switched to freestyle. I ocassionally get the urge to bang some slalom gates every once in a while.

 
yeah sometimes i hit them just because i like the feeling of carving but yeah if you free ski or just like talknig about skiing your welcome to stay

 
i race all the time. if you are ever in colorado we should hit the gates for sure. none of these guys know how to ski, they just gib. i do both.

 
ya racin is fun!! im not usually in coloroda though :(

All the good freesiers I know have a racing background, at one point though they realized it sucked

yeah, i enjoy my gibbing to the fullest. what is it about racers that makes them think that they are so much more superiour than the rest of us? i have no problem with people racing, that stuff is really hard. when i hear stuff from racers about how i suck at skiing just becasue i dont fit in their little box of what is 'correct' i get quite pissed off. i am not a bad skiier, adn i say that in all modesty. im not bragging, it is the simple truth. ironicly the kid that said that hasnt really skiied with me all season, so it really isnt a fair compaison. does anyone else get put down by racers? i see the technical merit of it, and i am on a freestyle team, so what is their probelem?

sorry about that man, sometimes racers can be jerks!!! i think it is really cool when people hit the jumps, my fav trick is probably a 360 iron cross or a misty flip. But alot of time it is the other way around. Ill be hittin up the gates with my pals and some rogue jump kid will come and laugh, so me and my buds get angry >:|
