I'll be honest, all the racers I know are good sorts and reeeaaally good at proper skiing ie. powder / steeps/ ice whatever. So I always have had respect for racers, knowing that chances are they are better skiers than 85% of kids in the park. I wish I'd raced when I was younger , it seems to give you good technique for life.
