'your kind' 'un wanted' what the hell is wrong with you guys? skiing is skiing no matter what type of skiing you do, why must you limit yourself to one category of skiing? did you think that maybe the racers on this site happen to race and be a 'newschooler'? are you trying to say just because i race means i can't or am not able to go in the park? there is a ton of racers out there that rip in the park and the ones that don't probably don't come here so what are you worried about? we are all the same we just want to ski, and by the way the cults are not all on the topic of skiing if you looked yourself so why would a racer cult not be allowed on NS. keep your imature comments to yourself, i race and im proud of that but im also proud that i can still go in the park and rip the backcountry up. grow up you guys skiing is skiing there are good ones and bad ones in every catorgory

racing is fun, i race but i also go in the park, just like a lot of other people on here so dont bitch.

 
i used 2 race, i think it helps a ton with skiing if u have a good coach. its taught me to have style for carving at high-mach 2 speeds, unlike some newschoolers..

 
hmmm ive heard of a terrible skier named Jon Ollson he must suck ass cause he used to race and still does to keep his points down, so lets not give him any respect cause he races so he must be gay cause apperently thats what we say on this site that racing is gay

Man, I'm getting really sick of these racer bashing posts. They are really old and redundant.

And a friend of mine was racing on his PE's last meet. he feell and had to hike, like, 3 gates, so there was no way that he was going to get a good time. So he did the last few gates switch. It was badass, all Jon-style.

if ur bashing me i didnt mean 'some newschoolers' as pros, but the kids who are bashing racing. it is sick to have park skillz, but its even better to be able to carve nicely and faster than people with reg skis. i think its sick to be able to bust a 5 on a table top jib a rail, and then tuck down the hill in 49 seconds. racing does help ur skiing, and its not gay, it used to be my life. yea i knew j o used 2 race read that ish in freeze like 2 years ago.

 
i'm in. at least half the kids in our park are racers or used to be racers. and when you have racing skills you can rip big mountain.
