hey guys i was wondering about you guy's imput on this... i mean i love to ski and i ski at a shithole hill that you can only do park on, but they do have some race stuff. so i was thinking of joining my highschool race team (i used to race when i was younger) it would mean that i would get to be on snow 5 days a week with just racing, and then an additional day or 2 maybe to be doing park. however, i might not be able to get to my hill for those 2 days, meaning that i will probably not get as much park in, which i enjoy alot more. also we get to travel to some of the bigger hills that i cant get to otherwise (marquette for example) but i wouldnt be able to ski around there probably. so whats your imput? is it worth joining or not?

 
its only worth joining if you have a cool coach who doesnt give a shit and will let you just ski and hit the park. thats what i did last year

well i know tis boring... but i think he hates park too... but i could get around that... i mean it would mean i get 5 days on snow instead of 1 or 2 though

 
yea i had the same problem, i would just alternate between the park and the course so it just looked like you were practicing...but when your racing on twins the coach will most likely challenge your dedication sooner or later

 
me and like 8 friends are just all getting together and getting a family pack of passes for our local mountain since some of us are going to be able to drive this year. not a bad deal at all im pretty much gonna be skiing every day from about 2:30 to 8ish or later cuz theres night skiing and the pass isnt bad at all cuz we got a family pack its like 150 a pop

im ampt cuz it means im gonna be skiing every day this season weekdays in ct weekends in vt

Any skiing is better than no skiing, also racing will make you a better skier, so you don't look like a wanker skiing jump to jump or if you ever get out west.
