Im sick of the elitism and inequality.

we wait fuckin hours to go up a chair, meanwhile the race-ists get to cut in front of the line. ive legit seen a group go up twice while i was waiting. they use their ski club membership to go in front of everyone even when theyre not in a training session. its not even like they are some "elite-olympic-national" representation.

they make a big deal when you dont let them in front of you in the line. they're unpolite. they slow down the lift lines when there are groups of 30+ kids at once. wtf.

ski hills need to stop giving special permission to this group of elitist pigs. idgaf if they pay 60k a year to be a part of it. they already have their own private chalet, why cant they build their own lift too? they can still have their special lift line, but they shouldn't automatically let a group of 30+ before everyone else. they should at least alternate between lines.

It’s one thing if they are actually in a session. I can understand that hey have training and races and can’t waste time in lift lines on busy weekends.

But that special pass they have shouldn’t work if they are not in those sessions.

true that evan. most places race chalets are nice and private bit they’re usually shared with other snowsports teams like freestyle and slopestyle. Atleast in WNY and where i’ve been in VT. op is just cranky

Im with you op. Only seen it cause bad lines a few times, but the elitism and entitlement you can feel from the race groups at certain resorts in the west is so aggravating. It’s fucking ridiculous at copper when the race center takes up the entire east side of the resort for the first month of the season while everyone else is funneled into 2 packed shitty runs and it’s dangerous af

low key at Copper sometimes this happens at the park lift from all those little team summit 10yrd old park fuckers that need to get their ass back in math class. They are frequently not being coached or anything and run up their special team summit ski club line all day and the lifties dont know when they are allowed or not and just let em slide cause they think they are these sick little kids that actually suck for the most part lmaoo. Easily probably 20+ minutes of lost lift time/day like 3 days a week and thats no cap eHeath!
