not trying to start a shitstorm, but i thought this was interesting, especially in this "hush-hush" era of political correctness.

 
Hahaha this is not going to go well.Not even going to watch that video... Go to their website, "American Renaissance" is a "race realist news group" or something along those lines, sounds like a front for barely veiled racism to me.
 
Right because 400 years of slavery, then segregation and unequal access to education, followed by the current model of unequal and poor access to primary education (2ndary education affirmative action is the reverse that prefers the few that make it through an unfair system by making 2ndary education unfair in their favor) don't have anything to do with the trend of people in one socioeconomic and "racial" classification achieving less.

Since when is not discriminating against and subjugating other humans (we all have the same exact brain) too politically correct?
 
Its true. Asians avg iq>white iq> black iq. Theres discrimination against asians in america, why do they do better than blacks? Im all for the discussion of race and iq, because like the person said, without this dicussion it will be assumed that its WHITE PEOPLES FAULT that blacks have poorer socioeconomic outcomes
 
We dont have the same brain. There are tons of dog breeds with different intelligences, but they are all the same species, just like humans are the same species
 
he compares blacks in the congo's intelligence to whites in sweden's intelligence... and thinks that the difference has to do with skin color...
 
It seems like if whites say anything negative about another race, its racism.

Bigger brain size (in relevance to body size) is pretty strongly associated with higher

intelligence. Neanderthals actually had larger brain capacities than

modern humans do, and whites and asians are found to contain about 2-4

percent of neanderthalian dna in their genome. Blacks are more

evolutionarily advanced and genetically diverse than non-blacks and have

an even more insignificant amount of neanderthalian dna in their

genomes. I won't jump to conclusions here because I'm no genius who can prove a direct relationship to intelligence and different races though.
 
IQ tests aren't a test of inherent knowledge though, there is no way of separating biological and environmental effects.

A good example of this is the 'males are better at math' stereotype. When you look at it closer males only test significantly high than females on the visiospatial tests. Naturally this was explained in evolutionary anth based on man the hunter hypotheses. Since then though the gap has virtually disappeared and they have realized that is likely a result of a) different expectations for the sexes b) traditionally male children spending more time playing games that develop these skills (eg baseball vs dolls).
 
They did a study on black and asian children adopted by white foster parents and the iq gap remained. Also your argument that males perform higher on visiospacial tests because of baseball is hilarious. The tests are nothing like anything a boy or girl would encounter playing as a child. Where the fuck did you dig up that shitpile of an argument?
 
I know a lot of people who would agree that Asians are the most racist people overall, and I'd be willing to argue that black people are in second.

 
That's not necessarily true men do have bigger brains than women, but men have a lot more fat in their brain. doesn't necessarily mean they're smarter, it has to do with folds in your brain.
 
Speaking of Subway, I have a very well renowned doctor with a PhD in nutrition his name is Dr. monks and he teaches my human anatomy physiology and nutrition class. He told me today that every 5 ounces of deli meat you eat increases your chances of getting cancer by 20%
 
fyi the people who do best in school and succeed arent brilliant. they are intelligent. they have iqs between 110-130 maybe low 140s. these people are smart but arent on the next tier necessarily. then theres brilliant people. id say that starts around 145 and up. most brilliant people often struggle because they know they see the world differently and even better, yet they can't do anything about it because they are the minority. Some dont quite know their are others too and feel they are alone or think they are crazy smart like over 190 IQ people then you are talking autism.

nvm, just looked it up. dropped out of college, worked in construction, then on a clam boat, then as a bouncer in a bar... no mention of subway, my mistake
 
I didn't say there were no biological differences, just that you can't separate them entirely from environmental ones. And your example with the fostering helps support a bio difference, but things like teachers treating students differently could still provide confounding differences.

And baseball was just an example from a list of activities - it wasnt addressed specifically but in this case i believe the idea is the hand eye coordination involved helps students perform 3D rotation exercises. The paper was in a school book so I don't have it but this addresses some of it I believe. Search the word 'doll' if you aren't reading all 50ish pages.

its sodium nitrite/sodium nitrate in processed meats. Males who eat a diet heavy in these meats, like more than 5 times a week, have something like a %35 greater chance of developing pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is about as bad as you can do.
 
Didn't read much cause of homework. But I'm pretty sure aboriginals have the best spatial intelligence because it played a large role in their ancestorial survival. So those iq test prob aren't fair to every race. Too pressed for time to dive Into this though
