Race Base?

How bad is it to hit rails on ski like the armada pipe cleaner that has a race base? Is the pipe cleaner a good all mountain ski too?

But in all seriousness, I'm sure they will be just fine on rails.

They will be fine, just wax em ever so often too keep them strong.

most skis now have race bases, just wax them...which you should do anyway

One more question-what are the main differences between pipe cleaners and ar6'/ar7's besides the price?

I believe Pipe Cleaners are still full side wall and the AR7s are the stepdown cap/sidewall hybrids. Core material/stiffness is a bit different too.
