I dont want to rub anyone the wrong way here, but I just want to say this. Why is it that we can't just accept that someone is dead. Why is it that "God took them to a happy place?" Does it make you rest easier thinking that there's life after death? I dunno. I just always thought it was kind of dumb. Because there's so many holes in it. I mean first off, no one can prove that there is any kind of afterlife, or a God or whatnot, regardless of what I believe. But if there is indeed a God, which I think there is, everything I've ever read, heard, etc would pretty much tell us that your friend, no matter how sad it is that he is dead and gone, wouldn't end up in heaven. Unless of course you're a born-again christian and believe that if you ask Jesus for salvation, that no matter how much you screw up, you'll still go to heaven. I dunno. I dont have the answers. I'm sorry for your loss, but you've got to admit that he made some bad choices and it was his fault.
