Honestly, what bindings have you broken before? I don't disagree that P/FKS bindings are good. But honestly, I've skied PX12/14's all season, usually set on 8 or 9, and NEVER had a problem. I may not be able to throw sw10's, but as I mentioned in my previous post, I ski hard enough to break bindings (2 pairs of 912s, and a park of 12 din markers).
If you have indeed broken a PX binding, I'd be interested to know what model, what DIN you were set at, your weight and your bootsole length. I'd also be interested in knowing what bootsole the binding was adjusted to (I hope some of the NS retards understand you can have TOO MUCH forward pressure).
My roommate weighs about 230-240, and skied a PX12 all season as well, with no issues. And trust me, he doesn't ski park, but put him on a big steep face with some drops, and he can out-ski most anyone.
Lastly, to say Salomon bindings as a whole suck is just stupid and proves you only latch on to what is trendy to believe. Bindings like the 900s and 977 have been around probably longer than you've been skiing, and are as durable as any look binding. And don't get me started on 916s or 920s. I'm not necessarily a fan of their consumer bindings, but their all metal bindings are as good as anyone's.
