R.A.M. Thoughts?

At first I was hesitant about the album but now after listening to it a second time with good headphones baked I have decided that it has completely redirected modern electronic music. Electronic music/namely dance music was going at an alarming pace towards stagnation and loss of touch (to use their terminology) and Daft Punk has come to remind of this. Incredible production all around some songs are too long but the attention to detail is retarded and the little details in songs are cool (enunciation of end sounds on Beyond, etc)...

ns... thoughts?

hers what I put from the other thread...

I've listed to it 3 times through.... its great, musically. seamless and reminiscent of disco funk with an undeniable (but-fresh) Daft punk sound. it has its ups and downs. but lets be honest, its not FUN... im not asking for bass drop n' EDM all-out, but it could have been so much more than " a piece of art" or a commentratry on where music should be going.

Give Life Back to Music is awesome and a perfect example of what (it seemed) daft punk wanted out of this album.... i just really wish it went up from there and not into a psychedelic-1983-funck pit. thats not "futuristic" (as its co-producer videos have proclaimed), just better produced 80s music.

(Drunk commentary)
