Quote notification

What do you think about getting a little notification when someone quoted something you posted? Something like the message alert we get when we get a PM. It would make it easier to keep up with discussions in different threads, and also make it easier to find out if any of your questions get answered. Plus you wont have to browse through "my threads" to find out if anyone replied to something you said.
 
yeah i hate posting something sarcastic or controversial and then having to look through my threads to see if somebody's flamed on me yet. a notification would be nice, but this is a forum and most forums don't have that. Facebook does though haha.
 
Yea, i was thinking it might be copying facebook too.. But it would be nice to have something that lets you know if someone replied to you.
 
I've been suggesting something like this for ages. Extend it to comments made on uploaded media, reviews and blogs.

Make it all optional though...activate or deacvtivate the feature through Account Tools
 
morally, it is ok to steal ideas from facebook, because he stole the whole idea of facebook from a buddy anyway.

this would be an excellent idea, i actually posted a thread about it seconds before this one got bumped......
