I know I have seen it some where around here, but couldn't find it now..

I'm very interested in these quiverkillers cuz im soon buying a second pair of ski and kinda dont want to buy bindings...

Anyone have some info? pics? and how many insert do i need for 2 pair of skis for a marker binding?

Thanks and +k for good answers

for two pairs of skis you need two quiverkillers for each screw in your bindings.
consider this though, are the brakes going to fit both pairs of skis?do you want to be able to switch skis mid day? pow in the morning, park in the afternoon.
quiver killers are cool, but they're pretty expensive on their own and when you can pick up used fks155's or something similar at a ski swap for 20 bucks i don't really see the practicality.

I would check out Binding Freedom http://bindingfreedom.com/ Essentially the same thing but a little cheaper. Count how many screws are in one of your toe pieces and heel piece, multiply that number by 4 and that will be the amount of inserts you need. You said Marker bindings, Im assuming your talking Jester/Baron... If you need different sized brakes these bindings are easy to swap brakes out. I think you could spend ten minutes at your car swapping out your kit.

Binding Freedom inserts are a bit cheaper than Quiver Killers, but both are good. I use Quiver Killers on all my skis, never had an issue. The biggest thing to think about is finding the fasteners (screws) though. Metric fasteners can be hard to come by in some places. I know there is a place online in the US that you can order them from, but here in Vancouver it took forever to find a shop that sold them. Anyways, just something to think about.

I'd recommend inserts to anyone who has two or more pairs of skis and plans on keeping them for at least a couple seasons. It's an investment into your skis (as each inserts is at least $1) and it can hurt your resale value, if you care about that.

I wish people around here would sell that shit. I scrounge the ski swap every year and have yet to find any.

Im getting a pair of 105 underfoot skis with some rocker next year mainly for touring (RMU Apostle). Theyd also be a kickass spring park ski. Might have to pick these up so I can mount further back for touring/big mtn and center for park skiing, pretty sweet solution.

Its an interesting concept, but you have to consider what it will do to the actual ski, especially if you want to sell it. Its essentially a helicoil, so they're big and make it harder to mount something else to the ski. Next person who has them might be straight up fucked if you've put two sets in on a ski. I've heard people say its a lot of material to remove, I'd maybe worry about it on park skis, but I dont think it would be an issue on most pow skis.

It does present a cool idea with something like a Duke binding though, but the other piece of the binding thing isnt there. If Marker was to come out with a "Large" and "Small" Jester or park binding, you could switch out between a alpine binding and touring binding using just one set of insert holes on a pair... and anyone else generally the same BSL could use your setup if you sell it later on.

But of course, that wont happen, because nothing in the binding world will ever be standardized.

I have a code for 15% off. Tell your friends and use it yourself as well. The code is "ATScrew". Thanks a lot
