40 days, and 40 nights without porn...

I think its gonna be tough, I got no cable, no roommates, no money, how else can I entertain myself on those "4am, I just finished my 4000 word paper and want to celebrate" scenarios? Anybody in a similar situation?

And, as I know this site too well, I will already tell every 12 year old on this site to fuck off; "I dont need porn, porn is for losers without girlfriends" and my personal favorite, "i'm not 12...".

And man, everybody should celebrate lent.

About bars, I'm well above the age here, thats not the problem. The problem is whenever I order a girl a drink, she always buys a fucking 10$ cosmo or something(which is kind of a turn off in itself), so its very much a once in a while kinda thing.

That and its shallow, much shallower than porn. In porn I'm actually curious as to who it is that is being fucked.

Something weird I noticed last year. I was getting head from a chick, and at this point it was about 6 months without any ass or anything like that, the worst dry spell in quite some time. Although i made a lover out of my hand quite a few times in that span, i came as if I hadn't orgasmed in that 6 months, much to her chagrin.
 
I just noticed that it was starting to seep into my social life. I would talk to a girl i never met before, friendly flirting, then bam, sexual innuendo. Not too bad if it is well recieved, but imagine that, with a Prof of mine!
 
I've done that. Many a time. And actually got more information back than I really needed to know if I'm honest.

Lent is stupid, its simply another religious period. Oh well, if your getting cut off from all those stuff, I understand how hard its going to be.

i gave up beating it for lent 2 years ago, and it was great. tough for the first 2 weeks, and then my mind kind of opened up and i just didn't need it. i felt so good and useful, it was great. i even went 2 weeks over before doing it again. i recommend taking a long break like that anytime, it makes you feel better.
 
honestly ive watched porn maybe once in the past 2 months. its mostly casue the person who clears our computer is my moms boyfriends nephew. last year right before our trip to florida for spring break he brought up how he found soo much porn. so yeah, ive resorted to watching my dads videos but i left it out once and hes like wtf.. patty (his gf) thought it was him watching it so he gave it to my brother whos in college (obviously hes gettin no pussy). it was a shitty video anyways.
