So over seeing all the hate towards goepper. People always complaining about how he has no style or that hes a "robot". Its just so ridiculous. Youre just all butthurt that hes not wearing XXXXL clothes like henrik. I guarantee if he put on some baggier shit like ABM, youd all love him. Forget all the hate. If youre not a fan of goepper for whatever reason, then dont be. You dont have to sit there and bitch about how lame he is when we all know hes a very talented guy. I agree he doesnt have as much style as most other pros, but honestly who fucking cares. Were all out here doin the same damn thing in our own ways. Hes a great skier and deserves appreciation for pushing the sport even further, not hate for not looking cool enough to you while hes doing a god damn triple fucking cork like are you kidding? He stomps 3 doubles and then a triple and he still gets shit. Its just so old. Get over it.

Sorry for the preach but this has been going on for way too long. So sick of seeing this guy get so much hate when hes such a nice guy for one thing and hes a really good fucking skier.

Bottom line, props to goepper. Hes been killing it and i cant wait to see him compete with the rest of the guys at the olympics in a couple weeks.

Stop taking about it. By talking about you are actually fabricating this illusion that everyone hates the kid which really isn't the case.
 
Heres the thing...im not even that big a fan of goepper. All im sayin is thatthis hate is bullshit and you all needa quit bitching about it. Its so old. If you dont like him, get over it. I agree he doesnt have style like most other pros. Thats undeniable. But hes a great skier and doesnt deserve bullshit from dumbasses on ns who cant ski even half as good as he can.
 
Really dude? Get your head out of your ass and just come out of the closet you fuckin queer. Goepper is one of the best skiers out there and so is Henrik, I guarantee E-dollo and nick respect each other, so give nick some too
 
Yes I have seen the comments. It really isn't that much, its prob a 3:1 positive to negative comments ratio.

However making a pointless thread like this isn't going to change anyone mind though, and it again just creates an opportunity for those who hate him to publicize there comments.

Idk if people realize this but trying to argue with someone why they should or shouldn't like someone goes nowhere. By addressing it you make identify it as a problem, except this problem has no solution and you just make it worse by talking about it.

I waste too much time on these forums.
 
you cant deny he is a contest-bot though. he hasnt brought anything new to the table, just does stuff other guys pioneered really really well.
 
I have no issue with his skiing but I do question the motive behind all of his other actions because of who his agent is. I feel like a broken record saying that.

It's like butters. He only started doing them after Henrik did.
 
Hes the 2nd person to ever throw a triple in a slope run. What most of you guys dont understand is that im not here trying to root for goepper and talk about how much better he is. Like i said before, im not that big a fan. Im just sick of hearing kids bitch about how he has no style. Sure he doesnt have as much style as the other guys but honestly who cares. What does "style" even mean? To be perfectly honest, it just seems like everyone hates on him for no real reason. You say hes a contest-bot like its a bad thing. What does that even mean? He competes a lot and happens to do very well and thats a bad thing? Henrik does just as many contests but no one has a problem with him. If you dont like him then dont. Bitching about how much you hate him on every single post that ever has anything to do with him is so obnoxious and honestly pathetic if you ask me
 
thanks for pointing out to us that the skiers who have won the past two X-Games slopestyle comps, and past two X-games Big Air are some of the best skiers out there.

the NS masses aren't hating on Goepper anymore. It's obvious to any viewer that he kills it, and he's put out a few crazy edits in the past year that show style and creativity outside of textbook dubs and spins for once, which satisfied everyone.

The initial hate for him came from him pencilling everything when he came onto the scene, had mastered huge tricks and killed the competition requirements, but no show of style.

He's grown into steeze and tweaking simple tricks in the past 2 years since his talent is already established, but he just needed his own steeze and originality.

He literally went out of his way to make edits that were more relatable, had no future spins or hucking dubs, just to prove his worth and make people like him more.

I still like Wallisch, Vila and Harlaut better, but Goepper I think has grown on everyone to the point where they want to see what he can do, rather than just shitting on what he does.
 
t-rob hits it. I don't like his shit, because he seems like the kind of guy that can be "handled." I work in music and have seen plenty of good artists image run into the ground by overzealous management and PR selection.

 
Jossi wells has tighter clothing than Nick same with Max hill and they both have way better styles than the unstylish robot. I do agree he is fucking amazing but I just don't like his style.
 
You're an idiot, you say we dont like him because he doesn't wear xxl? Jossi wells wears tight pants but everyone loves him because he has the sickest style. Its not about what you wear, its about how you ski, henrik, jossi, ABM, are all fun to watch, goepper is not. Simple as that.
 
This is the best comment I have seen so far, and I just wish that more people understood or noticed how much work nick has put in to skiing in more the just comps.
 
Exactly. Whenever anyone says they dislike someones style on this site they always reply "Oh I guess you'd like it if he was wearing XXXXXL and skiing to Hip Hop". His style is robotic to say the least, but it has been improving over the past couple of years. If I decided to kill some time by watching ski edits, I would much rather watch eDoggo edits any day than any of Goepper's. That being said I don't mind watching him in comps.
 
goepps doesn't have dreads, isn't INSPIYYAAAAAD, and doesn't travel the east coast with B-Dog to small resorts and ride with kids to spread the goodness. Henrik wins.
 
Maybe he doesn't have the best style but you have to give the kid some respect, he's an insanely talented skier. Plus, he worked pretty hard to get where he is considering he came from Indiana...

Goepper reminds me of Justin Bieber 3 years ago before he started fucken prostitutes and getting DUI's.

Also I can't hear his name without associating it with the word gaper.

His style has definitely improved, but still, watching him ski without poles I can't help but think...

Can anyone who has met him offer some insight on whether he is a nice guy or not? He seems like the coolest damn kid but i'm not sure.
 
literally one of the nicest kids i've talked to. when him and lyman were at windells academy they would come ski the t line pub park sometimes and he always was having fun and being friendly to anyone. even dumb gapes like me
 
Gotta be a fan of the dude comin' out of my home hill. I think he's kind of adapted his own style of making everything look so damn easy like there's no effort involved.
 
Can someone please make a GIF of Nick assuming he was going into 1st after run #2, throwing his hands in the air when the score was announced, only to finally realize it wasn't so....
 
Since everyone is entitled to their opinion I like goeppers style more than Henriks. I don't like watching short dress wearing hobbits spin like a top on rails. I'd much rather see an athlete sized human flip off a cannon box.

Opinions maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan.

 
He's too perfect at every trick he does. He does nothing wrong. That is why we hate him. It seems like he has no personality while he's skiing
