ive been riding 171's and im real comfortable on them but ive been thinking about bumping up to 180.

im 5'11 - 160 lbs

good idea or no?

they rode amazing, i had a lil trouble b4 throwing 7's off like smallish jumps like 20 footers and i threw one and got it fine, they were great on rails and shit. alot of fun man.

longer sticks equals more stable at high speeds and better landings on jumps... might make tech stuff on rails a lil tuffer... but unless ur a weakling u should handle them fine... longer sticks also equal more steeze in my opinion

Techy stuff will be a little tougher, speed and going big will be easier. If you're a park rat you might not like it but if you go big and ride the whole mountain, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking for a ski, check the Moment Reno Jibs. I ride a 181 and they're lighter than many skis 10cm shorter than they are.

long sticks iz bettah landinzzzzzz, also there better too, i gat 179s n im 5 8 or so

I hate it when people complain about longer skis being heavy. If you mount dead center they won't be!

Im 5'7" or so and I ski 181s no problem.

bump

WTB

06 thalls (176) - i pay about 200

07 ar6 (171) - pay ~250

07 scratch wrs (174)- pay ~200

get the longest ski in the softest flexing category considering you weight and height and shit

i wish ninthward was good at actually making their skis because then i would be on 190s

No one could say that better. It makes it a little bit harder on rails, but if your 5'11 on 180s, you'll be fine. I only find it almost hard on anything over like a 175, but then again I'm only 5'5
