Afterbangs are average, nothing too special. the construction is a bit of a scam though, it actually holds up worse than a standard cap or sidewall construction from what i've seen. also they are a bit heavy for their dimensions, but anyone who is actually that worried about ski weight is a faggot and should also wear super tight ski gear to reduce their weight/drag. lastly their graphics suck dick.
Walls are decent. i like the way they ski actually and they have pretty tough edges. a friend of mine has topsheet peeling on his 08/09 and 09/10 models but volkl has been really legit about it and replaced them free of charge for the next years model both times.
And i might as well say it before mrstskier does, but look into the ON3P Blue Steeles. they're pretty light and poppy, but might be a bit stiffer than what you want.
