QUICK QUESTION.+K

So I'm going out to Copper and Winter Park the 18th 19th and 20th of march. Is it going to be extremely hot and spring conditions? I'm from Pennsylvania and my mountain will be closed by this time. Will I be wearing a sweatshirt? Or can I still wear my jacket and everything. Also, will the snow be deep and will there be some fresh powder? I know ALL of these questions sound somewhat retarded but I need some help.

March is the most snow-filled month in colorado. So it may be a complete powder filled wonderland for you, or it could be a hot slushy spring park day. So it is impossible to tell what it will be like that far from now.

I totally agree, the best option is just to be prepared for any type of weather. Around that time a shell and an fleece is a good option that gives you flexibility for the morning cold and the afternoon heat.

Basically what everyone else said. The weather is super unpredictable out here so be prepared for pretty much anything. It could be sunny and 70 degrees in Denver, and blizzard conditions up in the mountains.

everyone above pretty much nailed it. weather is unpredictable, it will be hoody weather one day and 20 degrees and blowing snow the next. I would say just bring a solid range of clothing/outerwear and you will be fine. enjoy your trip.

it's looking good for you my man. winter park has been getting good snow.be ready for either A) lots of snow and mild/cold temps or B) warm bluebird beautiful sunny conditions. march is THE time to ski in colorado imo.
