Quick question for Colorado natives

hey guys and girls,
So I live in Boulder but I'm from the east coast, anyway my sister goes to CU now and is dating this epic douche bag who is from the town of Craig, CO.
Now, I've never been there and I know very little about it, so I'm not judging the town based on this kid's extreme lameness.
My question is, How do colorado natives regard the town of Craig, CO? Out of curiosity...

You obviously don't get out much. Craig is a small town like 30 minutes away from Steamboat.

Last I heard, Craig was regarded as a high traffic meth area but they also have a pet store so it's all good.

craig is for the cool cats duh.... such a a cool place. u can snowmobile and rep fmf jackets year round. duhhhh.

it is. when we drive to steamboat we NEVER stop at craig. its a gross smelly town with nothing to do.

Its a town 30 mins from Steamboat and from my knowledge is a very popular hunting town. I guess theres elk hunting outfitters up there.

Mostly ranching and outdoors stuff, and really fucking cold I think. I could definitely see how someone from there could be a pretty epic redneck/hick.

It's like 80% of the towns in Colorado. Tiny, in the middle of nowhere, with nothing to do other than hunt and burn stuff.

I'd be surprised if anyone actually formed an opinion on the town of Craig. Other than someone named Craig of course

I actually lived in craig when I was younger. Definitely a hick town with lots of hunters, four wheeler riders and meth heads. Not sure if you can generalize this guy based on the town, but there is a good chance you are right about his douchebagness

pretty typical of colorado towns really. breckenridge , boulder and aspen are terrible representations for towns in this state.

nothing against it, its just the type of place your prolly guna drive a big truck and shoot elk for fun, aint nothin wrong with that, actually if more people were like that there'd be far less douchbags.
