QUICK Q: What part of NYC is downtown?!

K, Its a long story but I need to know what areas are in the 'downtown' part of the city.

go to lower east side and just snag a taxi and be like take me to 91 greene street , you'll be at the Busy Workshop store and you will be in downtown NYC

Uptown = going north along Manhattan I think and downtown = the financial district. Like Wall street and stuff.

I don't live there though, but that's what I remember from my visit.

Actually...14th street down is "downtown" 14th to like 56th or around there is "midtown" and then you have up town.
