Quick Q about Nikkor 80-200 f/4. Different versions

I don't know much about Non-Ai/Ai/Ai-S differences between Nikkor glass and I stumbled upon this guy locally who wants to sell his Nikkor 80-200 f/4.

I've heard a lot of good things about it on here and was wondering if you guys could identify this version for me. I know it has something to do with the colors on the aperture ring but I'm not sure what means what.

These are the pics the guy send me, sorry for the low res.

I've seen KR, but is there only *one* version. ONLY the AI-S version, like no AI version or something?

no intend to thread jack. but if im getting this for my t3i, and im putting it on a 701 head, would it be smart to get a tripod colar?

He wants 100€ for it, wing it?

I'm generally not a big fan of zooms though... But this one seems pretty good.

That seems a little much, doesn't it? I mean for 300 euros you can probably get a push-pull 80-200 2.8D which will AF on any body above a beginner one.

meh, at that focal range for photos I pretty much need it. depends what you're shooting too i guess

I'd use it for photo, but I'm used to manual focusing. I wouldn't want to dish out 300 for the 2.8 version (aside from that one being way too heavy).

I might just pick up a Nikkor-Q 200m f/4, really nice prime.
