I got my skis in December last year, and didnt wax them once (i know i know). And now they've been sitting in my basement for 6 months. Tomorrow i am going skiing, how much will the lack of waxing effect me?

If you wax you're skis, it will give you the minimum amount of friction between your skis and the snow, allowing you to ski faster and more smoothly. Leaving them unwaxed, they have a relatively high amount of friction and will stick easier/go slower. There will be a noticeable difference.

which is the bigger problem to being able to ski fast.
its like not using lubricant when having sex....

if i wax my skis a lot during the season but didnt wax them since last season and i do a major wax now will i be good?
