I know what your thinking....and this may sound kinda stupid.....but I have ML on my t3i and i was wondering....can you format your card after its been installed or can you not because of the other stuff on there for the firmware

The best way to delete what's on your card is just to select the 'erase all images' option in the menu.

ok cool because if you re-format you might lose all the goods of ML that are stored in the first level of the card right?

i think maybe if you low-level format it won't delete ML? i'm not sure. i always just erase all images

Yeah I low level format my card all the time, it keeps all of the stuff with ml.

sweet thanks for the info guys! is there a different way to do a low level format than just the regular fromat in the menu? or is it right there too and i just haven't looked hard enough?

when you go to the format page there should be a little box you can check that says low level format
