hey jsut need a quick answer for a mate explaing the difference between the alpha 1 and the alpha 2.

he wants a ski for everything. not too soft though, to use in the park, shred all mountain and teach.

hes open to other suggestions as well.

Alpha 2 is softer and slower, Alpha 1 is stiffer and faster.

Basically 2 = AR6 like, and 1 = Pipecleaner like.

alpha 2 has the ar6 base and ar1 core, while the alpha 1 has a different race base.

Alpha 1 has the race base and AR2 core (like in the Pipe Cleaner) which makes it faster, lighter, and stiffer, but a bit more fragile. The Alpha 2 has the S7 base and the AR1 core (like in the AR6/THall) which makes it softer, more durable, but a bit heavier.
The easiest way to think about it is: Alpha 1 = Pipe Cleaner, Alpha 2 = AR6/THall
