Need help.

You have to complete as a balanced equation.

Then write the total ionic equation.

Then the net ionic equation.

HgCl2 + K2S --->

thanks

hmmm well it has to be a double replacement reaction and so the net ionic and complete ionic equation should be the same. so just figure out the ions those would make switch them around put them together and figure out the charges then balance the mother fucker.

You're lucky I'm bored:

HgCl2 + K2S --> 2KCl + HgS That's the balanced

Ionic and net ionic:

Hg2+ + 2Cl- + 2K+ + S2- ----> Same thing as left side(I'm pretty sure they're all ionic compounds.)

I think that's right but someone should double check because it has been a long time since I've done these.

word dude. my chem teacher has a monotone voice and never smiles. she fucking hates me and thinks i draw penises on all the desks when i don't and calls on me for everything. i hate her and chem.

no man this is like basic chem. And chem's not bad as long as you get a good teacher or enjoy some sciences. I mean i'm a chem engineering major I hated the chem I did in my freshman year course but some of it is really pretty cool when you get to the more advanced stuff dealing with carbon nano-tubes and all that nano tech stuff. Plus chem engineers on average make the most out of all the engineers.

hmmm i'm in chem 1, and 3/4 of the way done and haven't learned it hahaha. and i'm not stupid i'm good at chem i just hate it so it's not like i just don't know. my teacher doesn't teach us shit, and gives us tests on shit we haven't even learned yet. it is bitch...

wow that is weird i just learned how to do that yesterday

but i forgot already, good luck if i knew what i was doing i would gladly help

see this is the shit that they don't tell you in high school when you're getting ready for college.

You will hate the subject matter if you don't like your teacher or your teacher sucks
You will enjoy the subjects that have good teachers

I'm a terrible english student (hence being an engineer) and while i've always been good at maths and sciences, I always had good teachers for them and then I loved english my junior and senior year because I had an awesome teacher but I still didn't get very good grades I just enjoyed it finally. I used to really like business stuff until I took an economics class and mr. john johnson was fucking tool and now I hate econ. The honest truth is that your teachers determine your future as much as you do because you will put forth more effort, get better grades, and enjoy classes with good teachers while you'll just dick around if you have a shitty prof. So basically your future is determined by how good your teachers are which blows.
