It is just some snowboarders that makes me mad because they think they are so much cooler than us because they snowboard....no matter how bad they are..all it matters is they are the snowboarders.

ok, so I'll actually be serious about this:

1) Do you dislike snowboarding? - NO

2) If so why? - N/A

3) When did the tension begin between the two? - Shortly after snowboarding hit the mainstream, ski areas started banning snowboards for various reasons (from the idea that snowboards ''chewed'' up the trails too much, to companies like Black Snow making boards without metal edges and proper bindings) - how many people on this site really remember this far back?

4) Why do you think there is tension between each other? - The tensions began from the bannings, and then continued into the creation of ''snowboard only'' parks, the restrictions and separations enforaced by the ski areas caused much of the tensions that still exist. But what is interesting is that you hardly ever see/experience any tension between more advanced skiers and riders.

5) Anything specific you have seen good, bad, or funny between skiers and boarders? - most memorable was when a couple of friends, one had never boarded (only skied) and the other had never skied (only boarded) decided to swap equiptment and see who was better on the others equiptment, I don't think either claimed victory, but we all got a hell of a laugh.
