Why not start now then big man? Too bad youll NEVER get loans big enough to get inventory. Plus, most reps/companies wont sell to you unless youve been in business already, kinda like a grandfather clause - you can never break it. Especially if youve got student loans too. Plus you gotta plan on the season being good. Just some thoughts...
Anyways. Id like to see some more powder saftey devices, along with some portable snowshoes.
^on that thought, I'd like to see a wicked new school touring binding. Because Diamir Freerides are sweet, but they have way too much lift and prerelease alot compared to Looks/Rossis.
if you're gonna start a business, have a lot of backing behind you, and be prepared to take losses up front.
as far as newschool stuff goes, boots would be a good thing to take on, i think.

if your going to start a company the first 1-3 years will be nothing but losses you will not make any profit whatesoever. if you can survive those 3 first years you should be fine.
sERIOUSLY, the industry really needs some killer boots. High performance, hihg comfort. I would pay alot for something that actually felt good.

start by making liners or something, find a way to put a comfortable liner that will fit universally into any ski boot. liners would be the shit, as long as theyre done correctly, then expand into boots

mayeb cause it takes more than a plastic shell, it takes special testing and production, and massive insurance so incase someone does get hurt by faulty safty equipment, you are covered

pole baskets that are see through and sparkly and stuff like superballs...like one of those quarter things where u put it in and twist and you get a basket
a brand new company would have to come out with something so sick, so original, and completly new or it would get squashed by all the preestablished companies. if you think about it, hypothetically given a choice between a jacket from a big name company like Siver/686/oakley or whatever, and a similarly priced/styled one from a brand new no name company...you'll most likely go with the company that has already proven itself. that's the way real economics happens so it's super hard to get started unless you have a very unique product.
but...it would be awesome if it could happen. as was mentioned earlier, you need some huge financial backing, and in most cases, a single small loan won't do the trick.
on those peoepl tat thinkn i couldent make it i have already made an idea to fall back on its not just gogin to sell ski equpment, but it will sell all sorts of stuff, snowboards(ughhh i know 'not making them tho'), skate decks, bikes and other stuff too. i'm not gogin to make my own stuff for the frist bit til i get to know te industry how to make ski's and i have to buy the equipment for creating the ski's and equpiment. i have a name but not use if it will be good whats your guys opinion on 'Last Element'

softgoods would be cool. ESPECIALLY shit for women. NOT dumb stuff. i mean like the same cool graphics and styles that men have just femalified. cheap too. i will not pay more than 15 dollars for a damn teeshirt.
^so if a shirt were $16 it'd be an automatic no-go? sucks, cause we're coming out with some dope girls stuff in a couple months...
