I graduated from high school in 2006, and now I'm signing my bro up for SAT's. What test should I sign him up for? He's a junior right now and doesn't know shit about college, and I'm in college and don't remember shit from high school.

HALP!

Do reasoning, subject is for higher colleges, like in california most UC's require subject, it just shows how good you are in one subject pretty much. State colleges dont really require subject, so just do reasoning.

Reasoning. That's the general test everyone will look at. Once he starts looking at specific colleges he might have to take subject tests for them, but thats not guaranteed.

reasoning is like the "normal" tests, like essay math sci, ect... subject i a specific, like an entire test for math, or an entire tst for sciene

he must do the reasoning test.....but if hes looking at specific colleges check and see if they require two subject tests as well....since i kind of got screwed over with that and i now have to take 3 subject tests in one sitting a month before i apply to colleges which gives me no options if i completely fail....so yeah

i mean when it comes down to it colleges just look at it to see if you have done them

i got the impression talking to college reps its not all that big a deal but it doesnt hurt

i took some subject tests and didnt do well at all but still got in most places

good luck to your lil bro!

deff sign him up for reasoning test and if hes looking at mad good colleges (ex. Boston College, Colgate, Harvard, Shit like that) then take 2 subject tests

No.

Don't fall in love with CO and skiing.

He's a junior, but I'm making him take both the ACT and SAT. I did the same when I was in high school even though my scores couldn't get me into any university. I'm not book smart at all, and I loath studying. It's also impossible for me to sit in a classroom for six hours. ADD? Maybe.
