Question regarding re-drilling

Looking at picking up pair of used pow skis. Currently they have FKS 14's drilled/mounted for 315 bsl. I know that with remounting bindings, you ideally want the holes to be quite a bit further away from the previous/filled ones. If I was looking to remount the bindings for a 326 bsl, would I be worse off than if I picked up a ski that had been mounted for a significantly smaller boot instead?
 
Well with a pow ski you have alots of mounting locations verses say a symmetrical ski. If you move the mount forward or back at least 1 cm you should be good. My advice is get the used ski you want.
