Question on SCHIZOS?

So I understand k2 is selling some of their skis with inserts for the new schizo system my question is as folllows.

Can I buy 2 pairs of skis with inserts ie; Hellbents and Extremes or Hellbents and Disorderly (not sure whether they have the inserts) and use one pair of bindings (schizo), switching almost daily....>>??

I understand Schizos are going to be like $500 but if its split between 2 skis then its only $250 a pair, or I could just buy 2 pairs of sth14 drivers.

I am not all that interested in the adjustability, so can I use Jesters/Griffons with the inserts?????
 
as you probably already know the schizo binding and k2 ski has 8 drill points, much like that of a snowboard.You'll be ble to take the binding out and switch with other k3 skis, im like 95% sure on this, itll take some time to take apart and such but im almost positive you can do this
 
yeah ive seen this on the Kung Fujas 09/10 and I'm sure its possible, might want to put abit of locktight on the bindings screws to make sure they dont shake loose each time you mount them
 
probably not the best idea. you could lose a screw, not have them at the right tension, they could come lose. i would just get 2 griffons.
 
and because no one has yet mentioned this you wouldnt need the schizo system with the disorderly's because they are center mounted so they dont need to be adjusted
 
the whole point is to be able to adjust the mounting point. so if he wants to ride the disorderly's a little behind the center he can easily move the binding back a little. it doesn't sound like you get the point of the system.

 
As far as I was told. The Schizo versions of those skis are not sold without the bindings. It would be rad to be able to move one pair of bindings between multiple skis, but the way I understood it from talking with my Rep is that you have to buy the inserted version of the ski with the Schizo as a package.

I've been wrong before, but this is the way I understood it. K2 and Marker don't want to lose dollars off of a potential binding sale, so from a business standpoint it makes sense.
 
The screw that hold thing binding together in the middle will break after a few swaps unless you're really careful. It's very small and weak.
