Question on JIB's

So I've had my Look PX12 JIBs mounted for about 4 weeks now and they ski great. I brought my skis inside today, to find that the little "active control" thinger was stuck, clogged with dirt. It hardly moves and when it does it gets stuck. Do I really need to worry about this, or not?
 
is that the thing on the flat part of the toepiece that goes from side-to-side?

if so, i dont think it will stop you releasing or anything
 
^yeah, and it would be a bitch to clean because it wont move past the middle, I could only get so much dirt out if I tried.
 
have you heard of WD40??

Spray the shit outta your binders with that and you may get a good result.

 
You dont get it, part of the slot its in is ALWAYS covered by the slding device thinger, and it wont just blow out of there, I can get most of it that way, but theres always gonna be grit. Doesnt look like it could be taken out without unmounting them either.
