I may be transfering my job from America to Australia and our office is located near Surfer's Paradise. How close is the nearest ski area?
 
LOL heaps of cops, only about 4hrs on a plane. but you wont be doing 1 day trips. surfers is good thoug, be there december for schoolies or toolies depending on your age.
 
Thanks guys. I'm in my late 20's so I'd be able to party it up. I just know nothing about the area at all and living and working there sounds awesome, but leaving a place where I can ski everyday is a factor. Although, this could be a once in a lifetime deal cuz Australia isn't very easy to work in as an American!
