Question For The COMPUTER SAVVY

So basically my hard drive broke, or rather the connection between the USB port and the power connection motherboard thing that connects to the actual hard drive is broken. In the picture below you can see the ten prongs that were connected to the motherboard thing whose solder came loose from the circuit thing seen above--I can hold it against it and I know it works cause it makes the hard drive start spinning and I've even gotten some stuff off of it. But obviously I want a permanent connection again.

Is this an easy fix like I'm thinking it is given the right skills/supplies? Thanks!

already tried all of the above

taking the battery out and putting it back in doesn't produce desired results either. :((

there's gotta be someone that's built a computer that knows this.

^I'm trying to figure out if it's that simple-I know nothing about computer circuits and such and don't have a soldering iron. Can you just line up the prongs to make the connection and cover it with soldered metal stuff?

the cord is functional.

Well you already said the motherboard itself is intact along with the cable. IMO, just plug it back in and hold it down with something that won't melt away

Take it to a local Electronics repair shop. They'll fix it and it'll cost like 15 bucks.

Beats fucking it up for good when you try and solder it yourself and melt everything together.
