Question for SLC area skiers...

I'll be heading off to the U of Utah this coming fall and was wondering which resort is closest to the campus, and the distances of others. Thanks.

better to burn out...

...then fade away

uh, none of them are open in the fall... but closest to campus are prolly in parley's, so pc, the canyons, deer valley, but pc is the only half decent one there. but then you have brighton, solitude, alta, snowbird, and all the cottonwood resorts that only take like 5 more minutes to get to. they're all very very close

most of the resorts are pretty much the same distance from the U. alta, snowbird, brighton, and solitude are located in the cottonwood canyons and they're about 45 minutes away. in the park city area there's park city, the canyons, and deer valley which are about 45 minutes away as well - i'm not too sure because park city resorts suck ass and i rarely go there.

pc is only good for their park and theyre crowded. alta snowbird brighton are the best bets, and going about an hr north to snobasin is well worth it.

u dont have to listen to me cuz ive only vactioned to slc, and i dont live there and ski at every place

yeah it is 22 miles from campus to snowbird, and just a bit more to brighton but in a different canyon. pc is further distance wise, but you drive faster. like somebody said, they are all 45 min away
