Question for skiers?

what kind stupid question is this. i bet by the time im old they arent gonna make anything but twins. im never quitting. i dont plan on dying either.
 
while although i must admit that when I'm 40 i probably wont ski as agressivly as I do now (22) I will always ski twins. There good for more than just the park

They love it, both have skied professionally and now recreationally their whole lives and dig new gear as much as you all do...can't believe the looks and props my dad gets when we are in the line up for the KT chair at Squaw at 7:30am on a pow day...

I hope they rock it for another two decades (at least)

and...I have my mom sliding boxes (sideways even)...

never, but soon im going to start snowboarding, no im not selling out, i just wanna try it in powder, i think i will just buy either the prophets or elizabeths because i guess those are almost snowboards and have same sidecut or at least the elizabeths do
 
probably when the ski market progresses to the point where there is something better. 30 years ago if you asked, I bet people said they would never give up skiing their 210 cm straight skis

I will go to my grave with my twins beside me in full pride, and when i get like super old like 85 i will ride one of those see ski thingys like the one ski things and i will rule the park HELL YEAH
 
everyone rocks twins theses days... there was a race at our mountain the other day and a racer in one of his suits came in our park wiht some pub E.'s then went sideways across our rail jumps
 
my dad's rockin public enemies. he's awesome. goes into the park with me sometimes and slides the box. he's kickass. so yeah...why would anyone ever give up twins?
 
i saw this like 50 year old woman on the new PE's trying to slide this flatbar last year and making it like 3/4 of the way. it was nuts
 
as long as im skiing. my dad rocks the pocket rockets and does grabs off drops. he also snowboards and can 50-50 flat rails. its awesome cuz alot of my friends who suck at boarding act all intense about doing rails and my 55 year old dad just rides up and greases em.
 
as long as they are available.. who knows what skiing will become in 40 years - might have hovercrafts doing switch 18000's..
 
why would someone ride single tips because they are older?? its not like they are any easier to ski on, the reason most old people now ski them is because that is what they grew up on. we will be the old ones later and the kids might have somethin new like twins are for the ski industry now, it wold be crazy if there were no edges and all sides were curled up so you could ski any way you stand or face, i dont know how you would stop though
 
twin tips are never going to go away

if you havent noticed a bunch of patrollers are skiing on pocketrockets or those gay looking head vipers. Another thing is a lot of compainies are making their regular skis more twin tipped like the new rossignal bandits have raised tails there not twin tips but they are getting closer.
 
never. I will always have twins. I will tell my grand kids that I was around when the great sport began.
