Question for men who have lived with females in the past...

Alright, so here's the situation, On june 18th my plan as of now is to move out west to Boulder, I have the money saved, and I've put more then enough thought into it and decided that Boulder is indeed the place for me, and I plan on moving in with two of my close friends who both happen to be girls.

A little backstory, I've known girl A since freshmen year in high school, she was a senior when I entered for my freshmen year, she hung out with a lot of the dick upper clansmen dudes at the time, and really helped me kinda get to know them and helped me get adjusted in high school. She moved out to Boulder 2 years ago and has been trying to convince me to come out ever since.

Girl B I met over this last summer, we went to school just a town over from each other and her and Girl A were best friends, we quickly bonded and become friends on a much higher level then me and Girl A ever had been. She had been living out there with Girl A for almost 8 months and she too told me how great it was and how much she loved it.

They both returned a few weeks ago for Christmas break, and we spent a ton of time just chilling and drinking for basically the entire time they were back. The slight problem is Girl A and I hooked up a few times, when they were back. Normally this wouldn't really be an issue, but I really don't want to jump into a living arrangement, with a girl that I have potential too hook up with and become attached to, because that could just fuck things up.

Any advice from the guys who have had girl roommates? What's it like? Did you end up rolling around with any of them? Etc etc.

Serious answers appreciated.

stopped at boulder would not do it, but it seem like you already made the plans. get ready for drama in a college setting with out the classes.
 
Real talk from a grownup:

DO NOT DO IT! Seriously, having girl roommates is great for many reasons. They are generally clean, considerate, into cooking, etc. Additionally, they are guaranteed to bring girl friends around.

However....hooking up with a platonic girl roomie is a horrendous idea. Guaranteed to get complicated and weird. You don't want to then be scrambling looking for a new living situation or worrying about how to pay rent.
 
I get that, but I feel as if it may have just been a one time thing, we were both hit, very drunk, I don't see it as something happening again, that being said I really won't know for sure cause I won't be actually going out there again till Im moving

do NOT bang your roommate under any circumstances. this is like poking a bear with a stick. what the fuck do you think is going to happen?
 
I've lived with females on a couple occasions. One I lived with for a year I had hooked up with before hand. Everything was peachy, not really any problems. But if you're living with girls make sure they're as chill and guy-like as possible. It's the worst to have a girl start balling her eyes out in the middle of the night and wake everyone up because the guy she's seeing won't text her back or something. But DO NOT hook up with them while living with them. rookie mistake. just don't do it.
 
dude, I'm not saying that because you guys have hooked up previously that it can't work...not at all. I'm saying that moving forward keep the boundaries intact. I'm saying, don't hook up and start sleeping in each other's beds and start building expectations, it's a very bad idea. It is 100% inevitable that one of you will ultimately end up unhappy with how it pans out.

My "DON"T DO IT" was referring to continuing to hook up, not to whether to move in.

I appreciate the response man, and I'd probably be sobbing my eyes out before either of these two shed a tear over anything, this was the response I was looking for, thanks homie.
 
This. I live on my own, but my shit goes down at my friends 7 person house. 2 guys and 2 girls started that shit and there's drama all the time.
