but today my friend got his ski poles taken away because his baskets broke

we were riding in the park

it was just us and he decided to come over and say they were dangerous to people around us

no one was around cause it was christmas day

he claimed they were illegal size so took them away

what up with that?

Since it is private property they can technically do whatever the hell they want. You must be able to get them back at the patrol station; they can confiscate them on the hill, but that cant just keep them forever.
