Question For Euros about Football (Soccer)

Do Europeans view the American pro soccer (MLS) the way we view the European american football league? (We think it is kind of a joke)
 
MLS is a joke. European football (soccer, whatever) is much better than MLS... so, yeah. And European American Football (Kind of a weird name) is even more of a joke..
 
YES. mls is incomparable to euro football (soccer) leagues. best players in the world play over here and the real competition is here.
 
excellent point...europeon leagues have the best talent. sad to say america doesn't evven follow as number two...even the south american leagues have better talent and clubs than the u.s.
 
I defintely agree that Euro leagues are better than the MLS 100%, but you gotta admit the MLS is getting slightly better. It still is a joke and probably alwyas will be because of the dominance of American football, but it is slowly getting a bit better
 
i like mls. i live 5 minutes away from crew stadium. its so much easier to support a team that plays in your backyard. european leagues are definitely better, but i like my columbus crew.
 
I am from america and European soccer is the best. I saw an mls and UEFA game on FSC on night and the mls looked so bad
 
just watch the mls compared to the english premier league, americans are lazy compared to the europeans, doesnt mean they couldn't be just as good, they just don't play like it
 
^ I dunno, i think the talent level is higher in the Premiership at least. I'm studying abroad right now in Ireland and watching Premiership soccer is a treat. They are SOO fast, and SOOO skilled its kinda like watching the newest ski movie, your just blown away each time.
 
yah most of the MLS players are from colleges in the US and most european players are recruited from all around the world. But i am going to admitt that the US has a pretty good National Team
 
in Europe ppl dont really care about NFL since they only know what the sports looks like but dont know what it really is, so they don't really think it's a joke. The American hockey team, now that's a joke, because canadians own at hockey...
 
Oh fuck dood, I have talked to alot of soccer players over in europe, fuck the hattteeee on MLS. If they could do anything to shut it down, they would. The find it such a discrase to soccer itself.

i hate beckham too. Do you guys remember when Real madrid beat MLS all stars 5-0 this year? I think that settles it. but fuck Real. i hate them too. i also hate the korean soccer team. they cheated.
 
ahahahahaha no they didnt. Stop bitching that japan lost (I'm assuming you're japanese from your sn). Don't get me wrong, I love the japanese team and I love watching the j-league. But why can't they accept that the koreans went further than them in the past world cup?

the european NFL is a development league for players coming out of college but are still seen as having NFL potential, but need a few more years to develop. so the players are signed to an NFL team then sent to europe for however many years
 
But come on, thats real madrid. Thats basically saying the euro all stars beat the U.S. all stars. Thats the only problem with euro league. A couple teams out there dominate all. Im not trying to say anything for U.S. soccer, its beyond shit.
 
Yes but the all stars did beat fulham which does say that we are getting a little better. Its not madrid but its a start.
 
Dude you are wrong on both of your points. First of all, Real Madrid is in 3rd currently i believe in la liga, and that donest even include english teams. Also, in teh EPL, look at Wigan Athletic. They werent even in the premiership last year and were for a while top 3. Teams don't dominate. Yes there are better teams, but they definitely don't dominate. And US soccer is not beyond shit. The MLS may suck, but the national team is pretty good. Let's see how they do in teh world cup
 
Nobody cares about MLF. Soccer are made by euros and we are the only ones who know how to play it(exept som south african guys, but they play in europe anyway) American football is made by the americans and they are the only one who can play it for sure
 
i agree. real madrid really isnt like our american football patriots in the last few years. i mean they arent like constantly winning. there definently are better teams. and better players than becks too. i really dont like real madrid and usually root for them to lose. personally i got alot more satisfaction watching becks on manchester so many years ago. i mean, it really was awesome to see him out there.

anyways, english premiership, including my boys at chelsea, are damn good and shouldnt play second fiddle to real madrid. especially not this season.

my mate who is 'european' is fucking tank, played in the euro american football league, and now he is going to an NFL camp in Florida.
 
mls is such a joke, while it is ok to see live and i occasionally follow the revs cuz its the only soccer on, i would much rather watch premiership. the us national team is very solid however and im kinda angry they didnt get seeded i mean the won the CONCACAF and still no seed while mexico gets a five seed what the hell
