Question for all football players

I've always used a clear visor but i'm thinking about getting a slightly tinted visor does anyone know how they are compared to clear visors?
 
Correct me if im wrong but arent tinted visors illegal for high school? Maybe thats only lacrosse but I thought it was football as well
 
they have like 3 different colors

clear

gray

and black

id go with gray cuz its enought to take away the glare and protect your eyes from whatever but its not too dark so if your playin at a shitty field where the lights suck then you will prolly still be able to see fine...

what position do you play??
 
tinted visors are illegal in highschool football, you can pry get by sometimes, but its not worth it, some refs can be gay and not let you play, happened to a player on my team last year (i graduated) but refs can be wicked gay cus i had gloves this year and some ref said they werent approved or some shit and was being gay and wouldnt let me play when they were perfectly normal gloves

just get a clear oakley one, they are sick
 
no matter what state i think any visors with tint in Hs are illegal. i dont think it would be worth it to risk it to your team if you had illegal equipment.
 
its somethin like there illegal cause if you break your neck etc, they cant see your eyes and they cant take off ur helmet cause they cant risk hurting you more if ur injured
 
thats it. plus i think kids with tinted visors look rediculous unless theyre crazy good, which most people arent
 
Thats not true I asked my coach and some guy had a tinted visor at this camp I was just at. It can be a light tint under armour makes one just for high school that has a slight tint to it.
 
what about the sun in your eyes. it could burn your retinas if your out looking into the sun. that seem medical
 
some states you can have tint. i know oregon does. but if you're worried about that, my team got clear oakleys that had some sort of treatment that cut the glare. i can talk to the equipment manager and see if you're interested.
